Slow-Simmered Carne Guisada Tacos

Ingredients:
- 2 lb carne guisada meat (½ inch cubes of beef and/or pork)
- 2 Tbsp oil
- Water, as needed
- 2 Tbsp Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Carne Guisada Seasoning
Directions:
- Brown the Meat: In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Brown the meat cubes until well seared.
- Simmer the Stew: Add 2 cups of water and cover. Simmer at low heat until the meat is tender, adding more water as needed to prevent sticking.
- Add Seasoning: Mix the seasoning with ¾ cup water. Add to the stew and continue simmering for about 15 minutes, until the gravy reaches the desired thickness.
- Serve: Spoon the Carne Guisada into hot tortillas.
Serving Suggestion: Garnish with diced onions, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime for extra flavor.
