California Proposition 65

Proposition 65 is a law unique to the State of California that requires businesses to include a warning on any products that contain quantifiable amounts of over 1,000 possible chemicals. Many of the chemicals on the list may occur naturally in some spices – even those spices which are grown and processed organically.
