Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Yields: 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- ½ cup thick cut shredded cheese
- ½ cup jalapeño cream cheese
- 3 diced grilled jalapeños (seeds and ribs removed)
- 3 tbsp Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Jalapeño Rub
- ½ tbsp Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Jalapeño Salt
- Other Burger items such as bun, cheese, lettuce, tomato, ect.
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix the Jalapeño Rub, Jalapeño Salt and the ground beef together until the spices are well incorporated into the meat.
- In another bowl, combine the jalapeño cream cheese, shredded cheese, and grilled diced jalapeños and mix together.
- Place some wax paper or parchment paper on a large cutting board.
- Form a compact ball of beef that is roughly the size of a baseball and flatten until it is about ½” thick.
- Add a small amount of the cheese mixture (approximately less than a ¼ cup) to the center of the patty and flatten it out.
- Take another ball of beef, slightly smaller than the first, and flatten it out. Now place it on top of the first patty with the cheese mixture and press the edges around each other to form a “stuffed” burger patty. Continue this process until all of the beef and cheese mixture has been used.
- Grill the patties to your desired doneness, roughly 6 minutes per side, and serve with your favorite burger ingredients.
