Orange Cherry Biscuits
Sweet, tart cherries and a hint of cinnamon and orange permeate every bite of this glazed breakfast treat!

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Ground Cinnamon
2 tsp. orange zest
1/3 cup butter, frozen
1/3 cup dried cherries, chopped
¾ cup buttermilk
1/3 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tsp. orange juice
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with parchment and set aside.
In a mixing bowl,stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and orange zest. Using a cheese grater, grate the frozen butter into the flour mixture and toss gently to combine. Gently toss in the chopped dried cherries.Using a fork, stir the buttermilk into the flour mixture until the ingredients are just moistened. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, pat together and knead the dough gently 2-3 times to just bring it together. Pat the dough to ¾ inch thickness and cut with a 3-inch biscuit cutter. Place the cut biscuits on the prepared sheet pan and bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until just golden.
Stir together the powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth. Drizzle glaze over warm biscuits and serve!
